Noble Poker WPT Satellite

You have probably been watching the World Poker Tour all season. Chances are you have chosen your favorite player, and are rooting for that person to win it all. For $34.50 you can walk away from your television and stop hoping for fortune to smile on someone else, and have a chance to make yourself your own favorite player at the World Poker Tour Championship at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. On April 30th, 2006 Noble Poker is giving internet players the opportunity to win their way to the WPT's biggest game of the year. The Noble Poker "WPT Mirage Showdown Tournament SNG" will begin at 7PM (EST) and this poker free-for-all will not stop until somebody has proven themselves worthy to sit with the biggest names in the sport of poker. To participate in this tournament, the player will need to provide a $3 entry fee, and a $31.50. Considering the fact that you could buy a fairly nice car for the price of a seat at the WPT Championship, $34.50 is bargain for a chance at this prize.

To begin the process, simply go to Noble Poker and create an account. Once you are registered with the site, log in and click the "Tournament" tab in the lobby. A menu of tournaments will be displayed. Click on the "WPT Mirage Showdown Tournament SNG" to open a registration screen. Click on the "Register" button in the lower right hand corner, and as long as you have established a real money account, you will be registered and have your shot at the WPT seat.

On the date of the tournament, log on to Noble Poker. When your chosen tournament starts your table will open automatically. Your seat will be randomly assigned. A tournament online behaves a little differently than a cash game, you are in for the long haul here and it is best that you give the tournament your full attention. If when the tournament starts you are playing the maximum number of tables allowed (3), a window will appear and ask you whether you'd like to quit one of the tables so the tournament table launches. When playing the tournament blinds will increase at regular intervals. This is to help eliminate players and keep the tournament going. Unlike cash games, blinds must be posted and cannot be missed. To make it fair for everyone a dead button is sometimes used to achieve this.

The software will automatically attempt to keep the number of players evenly spread across the tables. This means as players are eliminated, you may be re-seated at a different table. This is done randomly so you may be moved several times during a tournament. As players are sent packing, tables will be closed in order of the highest available until the final table is reached. You are removed from the tournament when you run out of chips. You win if you are the last player standing at the end. Enjoy this tournament and good luck!
